A SECULAR ORIGIN

In Japan, there are traditional centuries-old detox cures called "Suna Ryoho" that are mainly found in the Ibusuki region in southern Japan.
For more than 300 years, the Japanese have used to bury themselves in the sand from hot springs.
This form of treatment allows the body to eliminate accumulated toxins by sweating and to purify itself.
In these very specific places, the heat is diffused by the ground and the sun, heating a sand with particular properties.
This is how Infratherapy, created by the company Iyashi Dôme, was born in November 2004 in order to promote access to care that is beneficial for the body and the mind.
